It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.  The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. ANASTACIA and several feline family members were saved from a horrific hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action.  As of JUNE 2026, 100 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear in their professional pictures and for only the pictures, Rescue Mama names her rescue cats after shows she watches.   MEET ANASTACIA!! ANASTACIA is a beautiful orange tabby kitten with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. She came from a terrible hoarding situation, but despite her difficult start in life, this resilient little girl has blossomed into a sweet, playful kitten who is ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. ANASTACIA may be a little shy at first and needs some time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. Once she trusts you, her affectionate and friendly personality shines through. She enjoys being around people and has a soft, loving nature that makes her incredibly special. One of ANASTACIA's favorite things is the company of mother cats. She finds comfort and security around calm, nurturing feline companions and would likely do well in a home with a gentle, cat-friendly adult cat who can help her continue to build confidence. Like any kitten, ANASTACIA loves to play! She enjoys chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, and engaging in all the fun and antics that make kittenhood so delightful. And if you really want to win her over, treats are the way to her heart! She absolutely loves snack time and happily accepts treats as part of making new friends. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** ANASTACIA is currently at PETSMART *** 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 *** VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below:  ****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA and  INDUSTY. But we can do meet and greets at all 5 locations below locations.**** PETSMART - 17651 Colima Rd, City Of Industry, California 91748 PETSMART - 2153 W Florida Ave, Hemet, California 92545 PETSMART - 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, California 92562 PETSMART - 34900 Monterey Ave, Palm Desert, California 92211 PETSMART - 2851 Eastland Center Dr, West Covina, CA 91791 The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. ANASTACIA is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers:  Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
