6/19/26 Ok everyone, Montana has been waiting way too long and I have not done a very good job of posting her. So, give this beauty some shares! Meet beautiful Montana! She was found as a stray and never claimed. She is a very good girl. She is friendly and good natured. Gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. We believe she is a young adult, about 2 years old. We do not know her breed, we only have her looks to go by. Montana is a graduate of the Paws in Prison program where she lived with inmate trainers for 8 weeks and met weekly with a certified dog trainer. She learned all the basics while there including sit, down, stand, focus, wait, release stay, front/side heel sit, come, leave it, easy, kennel, roll over and play dead! While she knows these commands, she’s a bit independent and will ignore the commands She does need to work on her leash manners too. She is high energy! She is good with other dogs but doesn't always take their cues when they've had enough playing or enough of her in their face. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Montana is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays.
