  Annabelle’s world changed overnight — and now she needs someone who understands her heart. Annabelle came to us as a tiny kitten in 2021 and grew up as the cherished only pet in her home. She loved her quiet life and her person. But when a new grandchild arrived, the sudden noise and activity overwhelmed her. Her owner made the compassionate choice to return her to us so she could find a home where she feels safe and content again. Annabelle is a beautiful American Shorthair tabby with a soft, sensitive soul. She bonds deeply with her person, enjoys gentle affection, and thrives in calm, predictable environments. She would be happiest as the only pet in an adult home or a quiet household without young children. She is healthy, fully vetted, and ready to love someone with her whole heart. Annabelle isn’t asking for much — just a peaceful home and a person who will cherish her the way she deserves. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
