Description

Meet Wolfie! Wolfie is a little different from other kittens his age, but he is the sweetest, happiest guy around. He purrs nonstop, loves belly rubs, and wants to be with his people at all times. Wolfie has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), often called wobbly cat syndrome. CH is a neurological condition that affects balance and coordination. It is not contagious, not painful, and non-progressive, meaning it will not worsen over time. Wolfie's CH is mild, and he does not require medication or special medical treatment. This resilient little guy has no idea he's any different! He can walk and run on his own, uses the litter box independently, and eats without assistance. He keeps up with his littermates just fine, although he may tumble or flop over more often than other cats. Stairs can be challenging, but he's already learning to navigate them and will likely continue to gain confidence as he grows. Wolfie is expected to live a full, happy life. He simply needs a home willing to make a few accommodations for his safety and comfort, including: Easy-access/lower-entry litter boxes  Soft landing spots, rugs, or non-slip mats (hardwood in the home is not a problem) A family that understands his mobility needs and celebrates everything that makes him unique! The adoption process for Wolfie will require a meeting at his foster home in Akron, potentially followed by a home visit to ensure safe surroundings. The first two weeks of his adoption will be considered a trial to ensure his new family is are comfortable with his needs.  Wolfie's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Wolfie will need his Rabies vaccine when he's about 4 months old. He was born on 3.11.26 and is 3 months old.
