Max – A3178012 years old • Neutered male • 10.60 lbsMax came to us as an owner surrender after his caregiver rescued him from a difficult situation and then found herself unable to continue providing the level of care he needed. She tried to do the right thing, but ultimately made the loving choice to let Max receive the help and stability he deserves.Max is a small, gentle dog who finds comfort being with Spot, and the two are kenneled together here at the shelter to help ease the stress of this new environment. He does well with Spot and relies on him for companionship and reassurance.We do not have information about how Max does with cats or children, and we are unable to test for this. As always, meet-and-greets with other dogs and children are encouraged to ensure a good match for everyone, with slow introductions continued at home.All adoptable dogs and puppies at ICAS are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. Adopters should establish routine veterinary care after adoption. All adoptions are first-come, first-served and must be completed in person.Please bring a collar and leash, or you may purchase a set at the shelter for $15 for safe transport home.
