Sparkle Toes

Meet Sparkle Toes!  One of our volunteers scooped her up when she was listed as a friendly found cat on a local neighborhood site.  In the following days, Sparkle would see one of our partner vets where we received the devastating news that she had not one, but two life threatening issues.  In addition to pyometra, a deadly infection of the uterus, Sparkle also had mammary tumors.  She was scheduled for emergency surgery the following day, but it was a big surgery and we weren't sure how it would go.   Sparkle Toes came through the surgery beautifully, and healed better than any of us could have predicted.  Her margins on her mammary tumors were clean, so she is cancer free today.  Through her entire evaluation, surgery, and recovery, Sparkle has shown how incredibly sweet she is, and that she is a resilient fighter.   Sparkle Toes will need an adopter who will provide diligent vet care, with visits at least twice a year to check for recurrence of her mammary tumors.  Her pre surgery bloodwork was all shockingly normal - another example of how amazing she is.   Sparkle loves everyone that she meets and is especially good with children.  She is fine with other cats as long as they aren't aggressive, or want to interact with her too much.  She wants to be with humans as much as possible - she simply cannot get enough attention!   Do you have room in your heart and home for this very special fighter?  Apply here: https://www.pfcatrescue.org/adoption-application/
