Description
Hi! My name is Zoey and I am looking for a forever home after my previous owner dumped me at a really scary place called a shelter. Fortunately for me, a volunteer at that shelter called her friend at BCAA and asked if they could help me and they said yes! I was a pretty much of a mess when I first came into foster but I went to the groomer who ended up having to mostly shave me 'cause I was so matted. My foster mom says not to worry as my hair will grow back out and I'm even beautiful without it. I appear to be a schnauzer mix but that might just be the way the groomer cut the hair on my face as I have silky coat when it's grown out. I was pretty shy when I first got into foster but it hasn't taken me long to learn everyone here is nice to me and isn't going to hurt me, then I love getting attention. I also get really good food and treats which I enjoy, too. I have done well with the other dogs I have met but the verdict is out on cats right now as I have shown some interest in them when they are on the other side of a crate. I have also done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding. It appears that I may be used to a leash as I have done ok on it as long as I trust you first. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
