GRANT and his siblings will be arriving at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine on Friday 26 June 2026 from our partner shelter in Texas. They have been fostered whilst waiting for transport. We post our available pets across the east coast and Canada and welcome applications from anywhere on the understanding that approved families must be prepared to travel to the rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Health & Background Estimated date of birth: 19 April 2026 ✅ NEUTERED ✅  Core vaccines (DAPPv, Bordetella, Lepto) up to date - too young for Rabies ✅ Monthly preventatives ✅ Microchipped with 24PetWatch - registered with Free Pet Chip Registry. ⚖️ Weight approx. 10 pounds Foster Report Card Summary Grant is an adorable, affectionate puppy with a playful spirit and a personality that quickly wins people over. Foster describes him as sweet, funny, and full of curiosity, always eager to explore his surroundings and investigate whatever is happening around him. He enjoys playtime, loves being close to his people, and has a gentle, loving nature that shines through in the home. Grant is calm and relaxed indoors while still maintaining the energy and curiosity expected of a young puppy. He enjoys chewing on his toys, respects household items, and is happiest when he can spend time playing, exploring, or simply sitting close to his foster family. Foster affectionately describes him as a "sweetie pie, lover, and goofy" little boy who loves getting dirty and having fun. As a two-month-old puppy, Grant is still learning many of the basics and will benefit from continued training and guidance as he grows. He is currently working on house-training, is still learning commands, and needs additional leash practice, though he already knows "sit" and is eager to learn. Grant enjoys being around other dogs and has a playful style that ranges from soft and bouncy to rough-and-rowdy, making him a great fit for active canine companions. He is comfortable spending time in a crate, though he may occasionally vocalize when confined for long periods. Foster reports no resource guarding, aggression, handling concerns, or bite history. While loud noises and unfamiliar places can sometimes make him nervous, his affectionate personality, adaptability, and love for people help him bounce back quickly. Overall, Grant is a lovable, goofy puppy who would fit beautifully into a variety of homes and is ready to grow into a wonderful family companion. Our adoption fee's are $550 per dog/pup or $1,000 for two. Adoption Details Location: Dover-Foxcroft, Maine Families must complete and submit an adoption questionnaire.
