Meet Jocko. This 2-year-old, 98 lb Lab/Mastiff mix is feeling the stress of shelter life and is hoping someone will give him the chance to decompress in a home.Jocko is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to: Lay in the sun Play fetch Snuggle with his peopleRight now, the shelter environment is overwhelming for him. The stress has shown through things like hyperventilating, excessive drooling, and a hotspot on his leg that needs time to heal. What Jocko really needs is a calm place where he can relax, recover, and just be a dog again.Outside of the kennel, Jocko is a friendly, energetic, playful companion. He is: Potty trained Crate trained Walks well on leash Knows “sit” Great with children (ages 2–8)Has lived successfully with catsThis active guy would love a family who can keep him busy with walks, playtime, and lots of love.
