Description

Animal Information: Oscar is a sweet 6-year-old mini Dachshund looking for a home here in Washington. Through no fault of his own, he is being rehomed due to the busy nature of his current household. With younger, high-needs children in the home and some unexpected medical challenges, his family made the heartbreaking decision to find him a home where he could have the time and attention he craves and deserves. Oscar has been deeply loved and well cared for his entire life. He is friendly with both people and other dogs, and has experience living with cats and children. He has completed a board-and-train program with On The Mark Balanced Training and is fully off-leash and e-collar trained. Oscar is house-trained, crate-trained, and travels comfortably in the car. Oscar would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, well-mannered dog to share a calm and loving home. Foster Profile: Coming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).
