Description

Meet Magical Department of Complaints — but you can call her Magic. This tiny‑but‑mighty 6‑year‑old black cat came to us after deciding she was not a fan of the toddler in her previous home. Magic is a cat who knows exactly what she wants, and she’s not afraid to communicate it.She loves giving head‑butts and soaking up affection, but she can get overwhelmed if the attention goes on too long. The great thing is she’s very clear and polite about her boundaries. First, she’ll offer a gentle hiss to say, “That’s enough for now.” If you ignore her warning, she may follow up with a light smack to make her point. She’s not mean — she’s just honest and expressive.Magic hasn’t shown any negative reactions to other cats here, and she’s still pending her official dog test. Because she prefers a calmer environment and communicates with a bit of sass, she would do best in a home with kids 12 and up who can respect her signals. If you’re looking for a confident, quirky, and charming companion with a big personality packed into a tiny frame, Magic might be the perfect match for you.Magic's adoption fee is $50, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
