Description

Dexter is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Dexter, your future best friend in the making. This stunning five-month-old black Lab puppy has everything you love about the breed—playful, affectionate, and full of that irresistible puppy charm. Dexter’s sleek black coat is perfectly accented by an adorable white patch on his chest, like nature gave him his own little signature.   Dexter’s story didn’t start out so kind. He and his three littermates were heartlessly dumped on a highway, left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, they are now safe—but instead of a home, they’ve been waiting in a vet’s office, growing up in kennels instead of living rooms. And if you know Labs, you know they’re meant to be part of the family, not stuck behind bars. Dexter is everything you’d expect from a young Lab—curious, loving, and ready to learn. He’s at that perfect age where he’ll bond deeply with his people and grow into the most loyal companion you could ask for. Let’s get Dexter (and his siblings!) out of the vet’s office and into loving foster or forever homes where they belong. If you’ve been thinking about adding a sweet, happy puppy to your life, this is your sign.   He is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $600.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
