Regular grooming prevents dangerous tangles and protects them from internal health issues.Why grooming is essential:• Rabbits groom themselves often, and ingesting too much fur can create deadly blockages.• Unlike cats, rabbits cannot vomit, so hairballs can develop into serious conditions like GI Stasis or bloat.• Long-haired breeds are especially at risk since their fur mats and tangles more easily.• Daily or every-few-days brushing is ideal to keep them healthy and comfortable.Their skin is very delicate, so mats must be removed carefully to avoid tearing.
