His foster family has watched him transform from a shy young cat into a gentle, affectionate companion who simply needed someone to believe in him. One of the sweetest things about Bowie is his nurturing nature. Even though he's still just a youngster himself, he's living with two tiny kittens and has quietly taken on the role of their protector. He keeps an eye on them, watches over them, and seems to have decided they're his responsibility. It's impossible not to smile watching this young cat with such an old soul. When he's not busy supervising the babies, Bowie enjoys all the important things in life. A sturdy cat tree? Absolutely. A scratching post? Even better. A fluffy blanket? Now we're talking. He's also a big fan of toys, happily entertaining himself before stretching out for a well-earned nap. One of Bowie's favorite pastimes is sitting by the window, completely captivated by the world outside. Birds become Broadway performances. Squirrels deserve careful observation. Falling leaves? His foster family has also discovered that cat tunnels are apparently magical places, and Bowie fully intends to continue his important research on that topic.
