MAGNUS NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Magnus        Best Guess for Breed:   Lab mix   Best Guess for Age:   1 year 3 months as of June 2026      SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  46 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs and kids! He has lived in two homes with kids 8 and up and did great.  We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Watch this video of Magnus playing fetch in his new foster home!   Watch this video of Magnus enjoying his day out at the dog park!   Magnus is Looking For:   His forever home! This young boy is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Magnus the one you see by your side?What My Foster Says About Me:  Magnus is an incredibly sweet and affectionate young dog who loves his people and will snuggle up in your lap for a full body snuggle and head scratch. He sleeps all night in his crate without a peep until we get up in the morning. He is great with the kids and seeks them out to play and snuggle. He absolutely loves other dogs and plays hard until he burns out his energy and is ready for a nap. He’s learning all about living in a home and he’s super motivated by food and treats. He’s picking up house training so fast with regular potty breaks and rewards. He’s got a great happy go lucky temperament and always has a goofy smile on his face.  Magnus has never met a stranger and loves everyone.   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
