And now, a few words from me: Everything is so new for me ! I can’t believe all the freedom I have & fantastic food. I’ve hit the jackpot! Still it’s a bit overwhelming and makes me a little nervous. The people around me seem like nice people & I’m learning to trust them more everyday. I just realized I’m called, “Daisy”, huh! And now, a few words from my foster mom: Daisy is a sweet-faced, long-legged beauty with an inquisitive, friendly nature. She’s still very unsure about her new environment but is showing growing interest in treats, soft toys & beds. She is very interested in everything going on in the house, whether it’s people or dog related. Sometimes she gets a little too interested in her sibling’s business but is learning boundaries & respect. The backyard seems to be her happy place, where she races around & checks the garden. As her comfort grows with the harness & leash, I think she will thoroughly enjoy walks. She’s getting used to the noise, sounds & smells of the street by sitting in my lap on the front porch. It’s so cute to watch her experience, maybe for the first-time cyclers, cars & people on the street. The next step will be to try a few steps. When we first met Daisy she would not sit still long enough for us to give her any physical touch. Now she enjoys gentle cuddling & touching, as her stress level lowers. I think that as her comfort grows, she will quickly learn the basics of walking & toilet training and become a loving wonderful family member.
