Claire is with our sister rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Claire – a 10-year-old Dutch hound with a happy heart and a permanent smile. This sweet girl has slimmed down to a healthier 20 pounds, had a recent dental refresh, and is feeling better than ever. She’s been an absolute angel both in the shelter and her foster home, getting along with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Claire enjoys leisurely strolls, sniffing every good scent along the way, and perfecting her side job as a professional crumb collector. She can be a little “determined,” but it just adds to her charm.   If you’re looking for a low-key, loving companion, Claire is ready to make you smile every day. Claire is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her   adoption donation is $300.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
