Jasmine is a 3-year-old Yorkie mix weighing in at a perfect 16 pounds. This sweet girl may be a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. Jasmine is a complete love bug who enjoys affection, companionship, and simply being near her people. She has a calm, laid-back nature and would thrive in a home that offers the same peaceful and loving environment. Jasmine gets along wonderfully with all of her foster siblings and seems to make friends with just about everyone she meets. When Jasmine came into rescue, she had a limp in one of her back legs. X-rays revealed an old fracture that healed incorrectly, but don't let that worry you—it doesn't slow her down one bit! She gets around just fine and enjoys life to the fullest. Jasmine also tested positive for heartworms. She is currently being treated using the slow-kill protocol, and the rescue will provide everything her adopter needs to complete her treatment. Her new family will have the support and resources necessary to ensure she continues on the path to a healthy future. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a sweet soul and a heart full of love, Jasmine may be the perfect addition to your family. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $200. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
