Edric – Smart, Playful, and Eager to Learn Edric is a 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing 40 pounds with a bright mind and a fun-loving personality. He thrives on interacting with his people and loves learning new things. People-focused and eager to learn: Edric loves staying engaged with his handler. He’s highly treat motivated, politely offers a sit while waiting for his reward. Playful and affectionate: He enjoys both independent and interactive toy play. When playtime winds down, he happily leans in for all-over scratches and affection. Highly trainable: During a short foster stay, Edric quickly learned cues including “sit,” “down,” “bed,” “stay,” and “off,” and even appeared to understand “outside”. He also signaled when he needed to go outside. Sweet and responsive: Edric settles nicely with gentle petting and enjoys calm physical affection, though he may become a little bouncy when excited. Edric would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
