Meet Misty Misty is a 2-year-old, 45-pound Heeler mix who is ready to start the next chapter of her life—a foster or forever home of her very own. Her puppies are weaned, and after being an incredible mother, it's finally time for Misty to receive the love and attention she so freely gives to others. This sweet girl appears to be potty trained and has a wonderfully easygoing personality. She enjoys doing her own thing but always keeps an eye on her puppies, checking in on them throughout the day. She loves other dogs, does well with cats, and has been an absolute joy in foster care. Misty is one of the most loving and gentle dogs you'll ever meet. She adores attention, loves being around people, and has been completely devoted to her babies. Even now, she still wants to play with them whenever she gets the chance. One of her foster family's favorite things about Misty is her adorable toy routine. She'll proudly pick up a toy, carry it through the entire room, take it out to the backyard, and then bring it back inside to show her puppies. It's as if she's teaching them how much fun toys can be. Misty has spent months making sure her puppies were safe, loved, and cared for. Now it's her turn. Misty is heartworm positive and will be starting treatment soon. The good news is that Project Hope ARF will cover the cost of her heartworm treatment, so adopters can focus on giving her the loving home she deserves.
