Electra is a beautiful tabby girl with white boots and striking green eyes. She was an excellent mother to her 5 babies and now it's her turn to find a forever home. Electra is a former stray who has acclimated very well to the inside house cat life; laying on the couch, watching birds from the window, and perching in the cat tree. Electra is an affectionate girl who loves pets and attention. She is vocal and makes adorable chirps and trills. Electra adores everyone she meets, both human and feline. She does have a few quirks. Electra feels very intensely about wanting human pets and will grab a person's legs and give love bites. These actions can be misinterpreted as actual biting, but they are absolutely not. She is just really, really passionate about wanting attention. For this reason, Electra's forever home must have adults or older children only who understand what she is trying to communicate and can continue to teach her to ask more politely. Electra really enjoys the company of other cats and would be an excellent addition for someone looking to add a cat to their home. She may do well as a single cat if her human was home most of the time to give her all the attention she craves. Electra likes water that moves and if given a normal water bowl will make a mess. She has perfect manners with a fountain. If you're looking for a cat with an established, yet somewhat quirky personality who loves to be loved, Electra is your girl! This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FELV and positive for FIV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
