Hi! My name is Chong. I’m a sweet, gentle guy who feels pretty overwhelmed here and would love a quiet home where I can feel safe curled up in a cozy bed. I can walk on a leash, but loud noises can scare me and sometimes I’ll stop and not want to move. I really appreciate when someone sits with me and helps me feel comfortable. I’m hoping that with time and patience I’ll gain more confidence and enjoy short walks around the yard. I do fine with other dogs and I love belly rubs. Sometimes when I’m outside and don’t want the walk to end, I’ll just lay down on the ground and relax. I’m not sure yet how I feel about cats or kids, but what I want most is a calm, quiet home and someone kind to help me feel safe.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
