Meet Tony the (gray) tiger! Tony is a loveable cat who spent some time with a good Samaritan but she ultimately couldn’t keep him. While in her home, Tony loved to play and cuddle with her two cats. He loves all toys and treats, climbing, playing, and just generally enjoying being a cat! He has been a little bit shy here at the shelter because transitions can be hard for kitties. However with patience and time to decompress, we have no doubts that Tony will be grrrrreat! Since Tony has done well with other cats previously, he may do well in a home with resident cats, provided they have a slow introduction. If you are looking for a fun-loving guy, come meet our very own Tony the tiger!Tony is available for preadoption - come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery!Tony's adoption fee has been sponsored by a Good Samaritan!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
