About Me : In March 2024 Koji (formally Link) and 15 other cats were dropped off at Lakes Animal Clinic in Antioch on a rainy night. Koji (Co-Gee), which means good fortune/ happiness in Japanese! My previous owner sadly couldn’t bring me with her on her big move so I’m hoping I’ll find a loving home with you! I’m a little shy in the beginning but when I get comfortable I’m a loving and playful little man. You can entice me easily with food or play! My favorite toys are cat wands, or anything stick shaped. I really love my sushi toys that have a little bell inside or make a crinkle sound, and anything circular like a little ball/ sphere will keep me busy! You’ll always find me wanting to spend time near you or right next to you when we get close. I really enjoy head and butt scratches and I’ll even enjoy some light belly rubs on occasion. I'm shy with new introductions but I like to explore around the house and am very curious so I get used to new faces pretty quickly. I used to live as an only pet but would get along really well with my little dog friend that would visit on occasion. Another fun fact about me is that I’m really smart so you can teach me a lot of words and tricks easily. I already know the words “come here/come on”, “up”, “let’s go” and “get out”, I respond very well to them if you say it after my name! Other pet names I respond to are “little boy” or “baby” but I mostly listen to commands and requests with Koji.
