Atherton – Friendly, Playful, and Full of Labrador Charm Atherton is a young Labrador Retriever weighing 65 pounds with a playful spirit, and a love for both adventure and companionship. Happy, active companion: Atherton can pull a bit hard on leash and is working on his leash manners. His enthusiasm for life is part of his charm. Toy-loving goofball: He loves tug-of-war and wrestling with stuffed toys as well as chasing tennis balls. Smart and treat motivated: Atherton knows “sit,” “shake,” and “down,”making him a fun training partner. Affectionate sweetheart: He enjoys leaning in for pets and occasionally offering an adorable backward flop to request belly rubs. While he also likes to wander and sniff, he frequently returns to check in with his person. Adventurous spirit: Whether chasing off a curious crow, splashing enthusiastically into water or participating in doggie playgroup, Atherton approaches life with joy and excitement. Atherton would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
