Meet Coco, a gentle 9-year-old gentleman looking for a soft place to land.Coco arrived at the shelter with his two sisters after the person who loved them could no longer care for them. Understandably, this sudden change left Coco feeling scared and uncertain. At first, he kept his distance from people, but with patience and kindness from volunteers, he has slowly begun to let his guard down.Coco is a serious little man who doesn't give away his trust easily, but once you've earned it, you'll be rewarded with a sweet tail wag and his quiet companionship. He has a gentle, loving nature and enjoys being around people he knows well.Currently, Coco shares a room with several other small male dogs. He gets along nicely with them, happily mingling while staying far away from any doggy drama. Because of this, he may do well with another calm, social dog who can help him feel secure.Coco is searching for a calm, stable home where he can take his time adjusting and healing from the loss of everything familiar. He doesn't need much—just patience, understanding, and someone willing to show him that his best days are still ahead.This sweet senior boy deserves a final chapter filled with love, comfort, and the security of a forever home. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
