Description
Dawn is a sweet little girl who is always happy. She has severe cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) so she has poor motor skills and falls when she walks. This doesn't stop her from getting around, using the litter box, playing, and eating on her own. Her fosters have set up 'bumpers' or small barriers for her to use to hold herself up while eating and drinking. Dawn will need a house that's safe for her (no stairs) that she can get around in. Dawn loves to play, eat, and snuggle. Being the only CH cat in her litter, she's always had motivation to be just like them. Due to her disability, she spends much of her time laying down in a comfy bed, but her favorite spot will be in your arms/lap. Dawn is a special cat that will require a special person that understands her disability and special needs. Please only apply to adopt Dawn with the understanding of what cerebellar hyperplasia (CH) is. Dawn is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Dawn's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Dawn, please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today! Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.
