Jiffy is a one-of-a-kind snuggler, sports star, and socialite of a cat! This young, affectionate, playful tabby is ready to find his forever home with someone ready to make him the ooey-gooey center of their world. He is easygoing, amenable to being picked up and handled, and loves to meet new people. Late one night, while trapping a different cat in Crown Heights, one of our volunteer rescuers heard yowling across the street. Who should they find but one of the colony regulars looming over a skinny tabby, warding him off to protect the food across the street. After assuring all parties that they would be fed, Jiffy trotted right up and flopped right down on the sidewalk for pets, ignoring the food in favor of affection. He made for a swift "trapping" after being coaxed with pets and immediately settled in once he was indoors. Jiffy is approximately 1 year old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is negative for FeLV and FIV. He has been dewormed and treated for fleas.
