Meet Dorito! Dorito is a handsome, affectionate, and incredibly special boy who has blossomed beautifully since being rescued. Today, he is a devoted snuggler who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch when it’s time to relax. He especially enjoys snuggling alongside his feline friends and has a wonderful affinity for girl cats. One of Dorito’s favorite companions is his foster friend, Bunny, who is also available for adoption. These two have formed a sweet bond and would love the chance to find a forever home together.  Dorito came from a dangerous area of the Bronx where outdoor cats face constant risks from traffic and other dangers. When he was rescued, he was in rough shape and incredibly dirty, with the white portions of his beautiful coat stained brown. After just a couple of weeks of safety, care, and good food, his true colors began to shine through, along with his gentle and loving personality. Dorito has discovered so many joys since coming into foster care. He has learned to play, cuddle, and enjoy the companionship of other cats. He has the cutest little meow and will happily let his foster family know when it’s time for a meal! And when he isn't busy asking for dinner, he is perfectly content making biscuits and soaking up affection. Dorito is a healthy adult, neutered, vaccinated, and FIV and FeLV negative. He absolutely loves other cats, especially his sweet friend Bunny. Dorito is looking for a special, loving home where he can continue to feel safe and cherished. In return, this wonderful boy promises plenty of purrs, biscuits, cuddles, and companionship. A home for Dorito and Bunny together would be especially wonderful, but most importantly, Dorito deserves a forever family where he can continue to flourish.
