Meet Matthew, our adorable Shih Tzu/Terrier mix! Matthew's story began with hardship. He was found as a stray, severely matted, with painful wounds around one of his legs caused by the condition of his coat. Thankfully, he was rescued from Downey Animal Shelter and given the care he desperately needed. Now, this resilient little guy is ready for a fresh start. Matthew is approximately 3 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Despite everything he has been through, Matthew remains a happy, loving dog. He adores people, gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play. His favorite activities include chasing his ball, playing with his toys, and having fun with his canine friends. Matthew is searching for a forever home where he will be loved, cherished, and never abandoned again. He deserves a family committed to giving him the stability and happiness he has been waiting for.
