Meet Wilmer - a 35 pound, 6 month old Labrador Retriever mix!Wilmer is a gentle-yet-energetic pup, who enjoys a romp around the yard and some scratches after. A true Velcro pup, Wilmer loves following his people around the house, curious about all the new things he can find. He is currently learning how to be a puppy, and has thoroughly enjoyed playing in a small doggy pool and chasing balls.Wilmer is nearly potty trained and crate trained, though he’d really prefer to cuddle with his people at night. He knows a few basic commands, and is working hard on learning more every day.An active home would suit Wilmer best. He LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine best friend. While he has not been directly exposed to children, he’d likely do well with initial supervision due to his gentle nature. Cats are unknown. Wilmer’s perfect family would understand his puppy energy and commit to his initial training to reap the reward of this lifelong sweet boy.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
