Josie came to DASH last week from Oklahoma where her family lost their home and had to move out of state :( Josie, however, has not lost any of her spunk and happiness - she is lovable and affectionate, loves both outdoor and indoor activities but is an indoor pet quality Aussie perfect for a family, single person or couple. She is being fostered by 2 young women who are roommates and who have taken her everywhere - parks, restaurants, the lake - everywhere Josie goes she is perfectly behaved and beloved by all who meet her! General Info - PLEASE READ! Our $350 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 5 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption and all puppies under this age will have future spay/neuter coupon at time of adoption.
