Description

Meet Luke!  Luke is the definition of a social butterfly—this lovable guy loves people and isn’t shy about showing it! Whether you’re relaxing at home or hosting a full-on gathering, Luke will be right there greeting guests, soaking up attention, and making fast friends with everyone he meets. Sweet, mellow, and incredibly affectionate, Luke is a champion cuddler. He’ll happily curl up on your chest while you watch TV or settle in for the night, purring loudly as he soaks up all the love you have to give. He enjoys being held, carried around, and even hugged—he’s just that easygoing and trusting. Luke grew up with his sister and was very bonded to her, but after some negative experiences with outdoor cats, he’s become a bit uneasy around other felines. Because of this, he would do best in a lower-stress home where he can be the center of attention and feel safe and secure. He’s wonderful with people of all ages, has great manners (no biting or scratching), and still has a playful side—especially when a feather wand toy is involved! If you’re looking for a friendly, confident, people-loving cat who will be right in the middle of your life (and your lap!), Luke is ready to be your new best friend.            Apply to adopt here! Online cat application form  Applications are also available on the website  (www.yolospca.org)    It can take up  to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.   The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.    All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $150 for one kitten or $100 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).  A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten   For more information about an animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com.
