RIO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! Name: Rio Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 4.5 months as of 7/9/26 Estimated DOB: 3/5/26 SEX: Neutered Male Approximate Weight: 3.8 lb as of 6/11/26 Coloring: Tabby and white Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Because of his young age, Rio will likely get along with other cats, dogs, and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Foster home in the DC areaRio having fun with his toy! I am Looking For: My loving forever family - could it be with you? I'm Rio, and I'm adorable! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles, and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings too! Litter: Rio, Raina, and Ren What my Foster Says About Me: Rio has grown in a few short weeks into a confident, curious, affection little boy who loves his head rubs, scratches, belly rubs, and being brushed. He very much enjoys playing with his siblings Ren (his best friend!) and Raina. He loves his cat tree and sitting where he can watch the world outside his window. Rio also has the cutest little meow when asking for attention! He is often sleeping with and grooming Ren, so if you’re considering two new additions to your home, they would be a purring pair for life. He is curious and ready to explore his new family and home. Rio is a gentleman and gentle soul. While he was very timid and shy at first, he is gaining his confidence with help from his brother and sister and now asks for cuddles and scratches. He loves to play and sit in the cat tree with his littermates. He would love to be adopted with either or both of his siblings, but is closest to Ren, who he often grooms and sleeps with. Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together).
