Hi!  My name is Kimmie and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my siblings were dumped at a high kill shelter where we ended up on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for us, BCAA heard about our plight and worked on getting us to one of their fosters just in the nick of time.  We appear to be a mix of a lab and great dane ... I'm now about 9 months old and weigh right at 60lbs and may get a little bigger over the coming few months.  We were all super scared and shy when we first came into foster but our foster parents are giving us lots of the 3 T's ... time, TLC and treats.  My sister Kenzie was the bravest of us and she has already found her forever home where she is doing great while me and Kayla were able to get into a dog prison program called "New Leash on Life" where we have been able to get one-on-one training.  I am now back in my foster home and while I'm still on the shyer side, my foster mom says I'm super sweet and just need to continue getting those 3 T's.  I love all of the dogs I have met here whether they are big or small, and I haven't bothered those strange things called cats.  It would be really nice to have another confident dog in my future home to help me learn the ropes.  I am doing really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding.  I have recently taken a really big step in my leash training, and with some patience and work (treats will help!), I know I will get it down and then we can go for lots of walks.  In the meanwhile, I will need to have a fenced backyard that I can run around in and take care of my business.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
