Description

Meet Treasure! Treasure is a treasure in the truest sense of the word. This incredible girl helped save the lives of nine orphaned puppies after their mother was tragically killed by a car. Treasure and her only biological puppy wandered up to one of our volunteers while he was working in the area. Although more of her puppies were searched for, none were ever found. She was so full of milk that she must have been uncomfortable, yet she lovingly accepted the nine orphaned puppies one by one as her own. Throughout it all,  Having successfully raised all ten puppies, she has now completed her motherly duties and is ready for a loving home of her very own. We're happy to report that all of her puppies have found wonderful families! Treasure is a calm, gentle Chocolate Lab mix who is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations. She gets along beautifully with cats, other dogs, and even farm animals, including chickens, ducks, and horses. She has been living in foster care with 18 other dogs and has impeccable manners. She walks nicely on a leash, is fully crate trained, and absolutely loves sitting beside her people. Treasure enjoys giving and receiving hugs and is happiest when she's close to those she loves. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart of gold, Treasure is the perfect match. After spending her life caring for others, it's finally her turn to be cherished. Please consider opening your home and heart to the very best kind of treasure. She truly would make a wonderful addition to any family.  PLease fill out an application to meet this treasure! www.animalsanctuarysociety.org
