If you’ve ever wandered what it feels like for a lovable pup to melt into your arms, you HAVE to meet Jacqui. Jacqui spent weeks wandering a neighborhood like the main character in a rom-com who was determined to find true love. Of course, she was also looking for a warm couch and a lap to nap on... Now she’s at ACS, hoping her story gets the happy ending it deserves. She may start off a little shy in new places, but, as we found out firsthand, the second you sit down with her, she completely melts into a puddle in your arms. Within minutes, Jacqui is leaning into your chest, getting herself settled into your lap, and making you totally question whether you actually came to the shelter “just to look.” This sweet girl has low-to-medium energy vibes, wildly affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people. She’d much rather spend her days cuddled up for movie nights than trying to survive out on the streets. We’ve noticed that other dogs overwhelm her a bit, so she’d likely do best with slow introductions - or soaking up all your attention herself. Jacqui is ready for someone to finally give her the forever ending she’s been waiting for. Come meet her at ACS… just be warned: the second you meet her, you may start thinking you can’t leave without her.
