Description

Attention grabbing title Phoebe: Tiny Adventurer, Big Purr, and Professional Rule Breaker Cat's Name: Phoebe Cat's Breed: Domestic Shorthair Cat's Color: Black Coat Length Short Cat Sex: Female Estimated Birthday 04-11-2026 Okay to live in a home with... KidsDogsCats Physical Description Phoebe is a beautiful black short-haired kitten with a sweet personality, an enormous purr, and absolutely no interest in letting anything slow her down. This friendly little girl loves to play with her four siblings and is always ready for the next kitten adventure. Whether she's chasing toys, wrestling with her brothers and sisters, zooming around the kitten nursery, or scaling the kitten-sized cat tree, Phoebe approaches life with enthusiasm and confidence.Phoebe is blind in her left eye due to an eye infection she experienced as a young kitten. If you're wondering whether that affects her ability to be a kitten, Phoebe would like to inform you that the answer is a resounding "no." She runs, climbs, plays, wrestles, explores, and gets into mischief just as enthusiastically as her siblings. In fact, if you met her without knowing her history, you might never guess that she only sees from one eye. Pheobe will have her left eye removed prior to adoption to improve her comfortability and prevent any lifelong complications.  Personality Phoebe also has a devoted admirer in the form of the foster family's pit bull, Gracie. Gracie is convinced that Phoebe is her baby and would happily spend all day grooming, supervising, and mothering her. Phoebe, meanwhile, remains somewhat undecided on the arrangement. She tolerates Gracie's affection, occasionally accepts a slobbery kiss, and generally treats the dog's attempts at motherhood with mild curiosity and polite indifference. At the end of a busy day, Phoebe's big purr starts rumbling the moment she receives attention. How such a tiny kitten generates such an impressive motor remains one of science's great unsolved mysteries.Because kittens thrive with companionship and learn important social skills from one another, Phoebe must be adopted with another kitten (perhaps one of her siblings?) or into a home with a friendly, playful resident cat. She loves having feline friends and will be happiest with a companion to share her adventures. If you're looking for a cheerful, affectionate, resilient kitten who approaches every day as an adventure, Phoebe is ready to climb her way into your heart.
