Hi!  My name is Sweetie Pie and I am looking for a forever home.  My previous owners both had to go into assisted living and were unable to take me with them so surrendered me to a small rescue.  A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I am a chihuahua mix (not sure with what) and I am around 5 years old so past all of that puppy foolishness.  I am just a tad overweigh at around 20lbs but my foster mom is helping me work on that.  I am a happy girl who loves getting attention and adventures.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats.  I have done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding, but i would really prefer to be out with you.  I am good on leash and love going for walks (which will help me get my girlish figure back!).  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
