Hi!  My name is Tommy and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked by Animal Control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I heard I was being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, someone from BCAA saw me and worked on getting me sprung and into foster with them ... yeah!  I was pretty dirty when I first got here but BCAA got me groomed and say I've turned out to be a handsome dude!  I appear to be some type of doodle mix, maybe what is known as a "schnoodle" (part schnauzer & part poodle).  I am around 18mos old so past all of that puppy foolishness, and I weigh right around 40lbs.  When I first arrived I was pretty confused and a little scared, but everyone has been super nice to me and have been giving me yummy food and treats and now I love getting attention from them.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats I've encountered.  I do really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding; however, I would really prefer to be out with you.  I do ok on a leash but do pull in my excitement on being out and getting to explore and just experience being alive.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
