Description

Stella is a young kitten who is being treated for an open, draining infected abscess. This type of wound is painful and requires ongoing medical management, including wound care, monitoring for infection, and supportive treatment to promote healing.Due to the discomfort associated with this injury, Stella is currently receiving injectable pain medication to keep her comfortable while treatment is ongoing. her condition requires continued medical care and close monitoring beyond what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite her injury, Stella remains gentle and is doing her best while receiving supportive care. Stella needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive continued medical treatment, wound care, and monitoring to support healing and recovery.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
