Bellatrix is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!Bellatrix, a two-year-old female, just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Very chill. Doesn't jump on counters or scratch furniture. Loves to sleep on our couch in the sun and is very calm and loving with our kids. She is so affectionate and so well behaved that we give her the the run of the house and we don't worry. She is an active and independent cat who enjoys following me from room to room, checking in throughout the day, and being part of household activities. She is playful, energetic, and highly curious, enjoying both interactive play and self-directed play with toys. She is also quite vocal and expressive, especially during playtime and her nightly “patrols.” Bellatrix is comfortable, confident, and well-adjusted. She enjoys human companionship, has started showing affectionate behaviors such as rubbing against and licking me when she wants to. She is intelligent, playful, and full of personality, while also communicating her boundaries clearly when she does not want to be handled. Bellatrix loves carrying her favorite toy mouse around the house and proudly announcing her “catch” to everyone. She also likes to follow her person from room to room as if she’s supervising all household activities.
