Meet Melanie, your future best friend with a tiny mischievous streak. At around 6 years old and just 17 pounds, Melanie is the perfect little companion who somehow went unclaimed at the shelter—but we know her forever family is out there. This sweet girl will absolutely steal your heart… and possibly your garden gloves if you leave them unattended. Melanie is house-trained, crate-trained, and settles quietly in her crate like a pro. She loves strolling through the neighborhood, taking in all the sights and sounds—especially squirrels and birds. When she’s not out on an adventure, you’ll find her happily playing with her toys or soaking up the sunshine during a cozy nap. Melanie is the kind of dog who brings a calm, loving presence to a home while still keeping life fun and full of little surprises.
