Description
Meet Tibbs, a handsome and hilarious 3-year-old tuxedo gentleman who is ready to be your full-time cuddle companion. After being rescued by Pet Haven following a car accident, this resilient sweetheart has blossomed into an affectionate, entertaining cat with a heart as big as his purr.Tibbs takes his neighborhood surveillance duties very seriously. In the early morning hours, you'll find him tracking the mysterious sounds of imaginary mice, while evenings are reserved for monitoring rabbits and birds through the windows. When it's playtime, Tibbs truly shines. He becomes surprisingly acrobatic with feather wands and worm toys, but he's equally happy entertaining himself. Track-and-chase toys are his favorite, and he'll enthusiastically play with almost any ball, especially noisy ones. In fact, he can often be found dribbling oversized rubber dog toys and proudly selecting his own toys straight from the toy box.A Churu or Delectables treat sends Tibbs into a brief burst of joyful zoomies before he inevitably comes looking for cuddles. He's especially fond of duck, shrimp, salmon, and tuna flavors and isn't picky about brands.Tibbs has thrived in his foster home, where his foster mom works from home during the day. He currently lives in a quiet, all-adult household. He has not yet been tested with children or dogs. While he is incredibly gentle, he can sometimes be a little unsure of himself. He would do best with someone who works from home or in a home with a confident, calm, and friendly feline companion. The most endearing thing about Tibbs is his complete lack of personal boundaries, in the best possible way. Leave your seat for a moment, and he'll happily claim it. Pull up a blanket, and he'll be on your chest, curled in your arms, or stretched across your legs before you know it. Sleeping separately from his person simply isn't an option. He often insists on keeping at least one paw touching you while you're watching TV, working, or even eating dinner. Tibbs wears his heart on his sleeve, making it easy to know exactly how he's feeling. Add in his tiny meows and adorable chirps, and it's impossible not to fall in love.Tibbs is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments.
