Description
#A5773587 Meet Champ, a 1-year-old Queensland Heeler mix with a stunning red-and-white coat dusted in bright auburn freckles and patches that make him truly one of a kind! True to his breed, Champ is incredibly smart, active, and always ready for a job - whether that’s long hikes, agility work, or learning fun new tricks. He’s still young and full of energy, but with the right outlet for both his mind and body, he’ll absolutely thrive. Champ is sweet, friendly, and does wonderfully with other calm dogs - even showing polite curiosity toward smaller pups. He’s already got great manners, walking nicely on leash, potty trained, and showing off commands like “sit” and “shake.” If you’re looking for an adventurous, loyal companion who’s as clever as he is handsome, Champ is definitely your guy! -1 year 1 month old red and white Queensland Heeler mix -56 pound neutered male -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/1/26 as a stray -a killer package deal - great on leash, potty trained, perfectly balanced medium energy level, good with other pups of all sizes, sweet and friendly disposition, and knows basic commands like sit and shake -perfect candidate for advanced training, agility work, or tricks - will need consistent exercise, but his energy can definitely be channeled in productive ways! Would also be an excellent activity buddy! Champ's video: https://youtube.com/shorts/IHRLFyZagoA ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
