Dakota is a beautiful, gentle, and loving dog looking for a wonderful new home. She is approximately 6 years old, weighs about 50 pounds, and is a spayed female Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix. Dakota loves being outdoors, exploring, and especially playing in the water. She has a sweet personality and would thrive with a family that can give her plenty of love, attention, and room to enjoy the outdoors. Finding a new home for Dakota is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make. Unfortunately, I will soon be moving to a condominium in a nearby city, and the HOA does not allow large dogs. I also have two small dogs that will be moving with me. My greatest hope is to find Dakota a kind and caring family with a spacious backyard where she can run, play, and continue to enjoy the life she loves. She deserves a home filled with love, companionship, and the opportunity to be a cherished member of the family.
