Elsinore

Description

Elsinore is a sweet 4-year-old, 61-pound German Shepherd mix. Initially overwhelmed, she's adjusting well and starting to shine. She walks nicely on leash, loves treats, and enjoys being brushed. On a recent field trip, Elsinore explored a waterfront trail. She was nervous at first, especially in the car, but she bravely sniffed her way along. She politely passed people, dogs, and most wildlife. She got excited with some squirrels, but was easy to redirect. By the end, Elsinore walked with more confidence and sought pets. In shelter playgroups, Elsinore is a gentle player with other dogs. She would do well with another compatible dog, or could be happy solo. Elsinore is looking for a quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace, with someone prepared to continue positive reinforcement training. With a little time, you'll discover a loving companion who'll enjoy adventures by your side.
