Description
Henry is a calm, low maintenance senior boy is looking for a new home. He is with our rescue partner in Louisiana. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Meet Henry, a gentle soul with so much love still to give. At 12 years old, this beautiful Briard found himself surrendered by the only home he’s ever known. It’s a confusing change for any dog, but Henry has handled it with quiet grace and a soft, trusting heart, he settled in his foster home immediately. Weighing 69 pounds, Henry is the definition of sweet and low maintenance. He doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot to rest, a few short walks, and someone to remind him that he’s safe and loved again. His calm nature makes him an easy companion, and his soulful eyes tell a story that will stay with you. Senior dogs like Henry have a special kind of magic. They’re past the chaos, past the training stages—they just want connection, comfort, and kindness. Henry may be in his golden years, but his heart is as full as ever. He deserves a soft landing and a family who will cherish him for the incredible dog he is. Could that be you? Henry is fixed, is microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption donation is $300. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
