Description
Dusty and Killian are a bonded pair of cats who are sweet, affectionate and very playful. Killian (age 5) is the sleek black cat, who, once he gets to know you, forms a close bond with his person. Dusty (age 3) has a gorgeous ginger coat with beautiful markings. He’s very affectionate with a sprinkle of orange-cat “goofiness”. Both boys enjoy cuddling petting, and sleeping with their person. Their antics- chasing toys, zooming about the house, and going crazy for wand toys can be really amusing! The boys also love watching birds from their window or cat tree (they’re strictly indoor cats). They’ve never lived with other cats or dogs, and would do best as the only pets in the home. They have little or no experience with children, but would probably do well with older children. Dusty and Killian lost their home when their original owner passed away in March 2026. I had expected they’d remain with me, but I developed an unexpected health crisis just a few weeks after they arrived, that will make it impossible to give the boys all the care they need and deserve. Dusty and Killian are both in excellent health. Dusty did need treatment for bladder stones, but made a full recovery and has continued to do very well on a prescription kidney food, Hills K/D diet. If you have room in your home and heart for two lovebugs, Dusty and Killian are waiting to meet you! Their rehoming fee is $150 and they are inside only and live in Portland with their caregiver. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
