Rye and her three siblings were found near a grain terminal, which is how she got her name. She came to us with goopy eyes, a tiny body, and a very big fear of humans — everything in her world had been overwhelming.She’s still a cautious kitten, but she’s starting to discover that people aren’t so scary. When you pet her gently, she’ll close her eyes like she’s thinking, “Okay… this isn’t so bad.” She’s not a lean‑in, snuggle‑up kitten yet — she’s a quiet observer who’s slowly learning to trust.Rye will thrive in a patient, calm home that understands shy cats and celebrates small steps forward.
